We at Bormioli Rocco are pleased to announce that we are exhibiting at FCE Pharma 2010, taking place from the 25-27 May at Transamerica Expo Center (TEC), Brasil.

For the occasion Bormioli Rocco will also present BormioAdvance.

It is an innovative and highly sophisticated technology developed by Bormioli Rocco that makes it possible to create glass mould vials where the glass distribution is rigorously optimized, leading to reductions in weight of 25-30% compared to equivalent traditional vials.

This technology originated in the company's experience in the fields of precision control over glassmaking processes and the manufacture and moulding techniques used for lightweight syrup containers. Now the BormioAdvance technology has also been applied to the small volume vials.

The result is a range of products that combines improvements in both cost and performance, compared to products previously available for lyophilization processes and, more generally, sterilization procedures.
